What it does

Count breaths, even in the dark

Tap once for each breath; after 30 seconds the app works out breaths per minute and saves it. Night mode gives you a dark, dim screen so you can count your dog's sleeping breathing rate (SRR) without turning on the lights.

The whole heart log in one place

Meds with reminders and low-stock alerts, cough count, fainting or wobbliness, urination, appetite, water, weight (kg or lb) and notes — all in one daily log.

Every dose change, kept on record

Log each new dose from your vet with the date and a note. The current dose is always visible, and dose-change days are marked on the breathing chart.

Heart tests and stage

Keep LA/Ao, FS, heart rate, VHS, LVIDDN and NT-proBNP from each visit, the ACVIM stage your vet gave you, and photos of the reports.

A report your vet can read in seconds

A 30- or 90-day PDF with the breathing-rate trend, dose-change markers, a day-by-day log and your heart test results. Show it at the clinic, share it or print it.

Free, forever: every logging feature, reminders, and charts for the last 14 days. Premium (optional subscription, 7-day free trial on the yearly plan) adds 30- and 90-day charts, the vet-ready PDF export (your first PDF is free) and more than one dog. Your data stays on your device.
Heart Notes is a record-keeping tool. It does not diagnose, treat or give veterinary advice. Please talk to your veterinarian about your dog's health and medication.
