Pocket Tools (operated by Steelstyle K.K., "we") sets out below how the smartphone app "Diabetes Notes for Cats" (also published in Japan as「にゃん糖ノート」, the "App") handles user information.
All data you enter in the App — your cat's name, weight, insulin shots, blood glucose readings, target range, care logs, lab results, photos and notes — is stored only on your device. It is never sent to our servers. We operate no server that receives your data.
The App supports record-keeping for pet care. It does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, and it does not suggest insulin doses or blood glucose targets. Please consult your veterinarian for any decisions about your pet's health.
The optional Premium subscription is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment details.
We do not provide user information to third parties, except where required by law. PDF reports and backups are shared only when you choose to share them, to the destination you choose.
Because all data is stored only on your device, uninstalling the App deletes all of it. You can also export a backup file at any time from the More tab; backup files are saved wherever you choose and are under your control.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on the store page.
